ASAK MUFTI SAHEB MAINE QUESTION KIYA THA NUMBER 49. MERE SHOHAR NE KUFRIYA KALIMAAT KEH DIYE THE UOS BARE MEIN. AAPNE ANWER MEIN KHAHA THA KI TAJDEEDE IMAAN AND TAJDEEDE NIKAH KARNA JAROORI HAI. MERE SHOHAR NE YAHAN USA LOS ANGELES KE EK MUFTI SE POOCAH UONHONE YEH FATWA DIYA. The words you used, although sinful, do not constitute Kufr. You did not say them on purpose, nor did you believe in it, making it an honest Mistake. All of the children of Ādam commit mistakes, but the best of those who commit mistakes are those who repent to Allāh (Dāramī) Hence, as soon as a person commits a sin, he/she should turn to Allāh Ta’ālā and sincere repent to Him. In addition to begging Allāh Ta’ālā for forgiveness, one should make a firm intention of never committing the same mistake again. When mentioning the God-fearing individuals (muttaqīn), Allāh Ta’ālā describes one of their qualities by saying, وَالَّذِينَ إِذَا فَعَلُوا فَاحِشَةً أَوْ ظَلَمُوا أَنْفُسَهُمْ ذَكَرُوا اللَّهَ فَاسْتَغْفَرُوا لِذُنُوبِهِمْ وَمَنْ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ وَلَمْ يُصِرُّوا عَلَى مَا فَعَلُوا وَهُمْ يَعْلَمُونَ * أُولَئِكَ جَزَاؤُهُمْ مَغْفِرَةٌ مِنْ رَبِّهِمْ وَجَنَّاتٌ تَجْرِي مِنْ تَحْتِهَا الْأَنْهَارُ خَالِدِينَ فِيهَا وَنِعْمَ أَجْرُ الْعَامِلِينَ (آل عمران: 135-136) And those who, when they commit lewd acts or have wronged themselves, remember Allāh and ask forgiveness for their sins - and none can forgive sins but Allāh- and do not persist in what (wrong) they have committed while they know. For such, the reward is forgiveness from their Lord, and Gardens with rives flowing underneath wherein they shall abide forever. How excellent is this reward for the doers (of righteous deeds) (Qur’an 3:135-136) قُلْ يَا عِبَادِيَ الَّذِينَ أَسْرَفُوا عَلَى أَنْفُسِهِمْ لَا تَقْنَطُوا مِنْ رَحْمَةِ اللَّهِ إِنَّ اللَّهَ يَغْفِرُ الذُّنُوبَ جَمِيعًا إِنَّهُ هُوَ الْغَفُورُ الرَّحِيمُ (الزمر: 53) Say, “O My servants who have transgressed against themselves, do not despair from the mercy of Allāh, for, verily, Allāh forgives all sins. Surely, He is the Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful (Qur’an 39:53) Be very careful of what you say & what you believe in. وعن أبي موسى الأشعري رضي الله عنه أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال: ((أيها الناس، اتقوا هذا الشرك، فإنه أخفى من دبيب النمل))، فقال له من شاء الله أن يقول: وكيف نتقيه وهو أخفى من دبيب النمل يا رسول الله؟ قال: ((قولوا: اللهم إنا نعوذ بك من أن نشرك بك شيئاً نعلمه، ونستغفره لما لا نعلم)) أخرجه أحمد في المسند (4/403)، وابن أبي شيبة في المصنف (6/70)، وأبو يعلي في مسند ()1/60) Rasool Allah صلي الله عليه وسلم said: O people, save yourselves from this shirk for it is more inconspicuous than the creeping of ant. So someone, whon Allah willed to say, said: How do we save ourselves from it while it is more inconspicuous than the creeping of ant ya Rasool Allah? Rasoool Allah صلي الله عليه وسلم said: \" Say: Ya Allah we take your refuge from doing shirk with you knowingly, and ask for your forgiveness for doing it unknowingly\" Please recite this when ever you get a chance, hopefully it will help in controlling your compulsions. اللّهُمَّ إنِّي أَعُوْذُ بِكَ مِنْ أَنْ أُشْرِكَ بِكَ شَيْئًا وَأَنا أَعْلَمُ وَأَسْتَغْفِرُكَ لِما لا أَعْلَمُ O Allāh, I seek protection with You from associating anything with You while I am aware, and I seek forgiveness for that which I am unaware. Allah Knows best. AB MAI KYA KAROON
